Drainland - And So Our Troubles Began LP Drainland hail from Ireland and play some seriously ugly and heavy HC. This sounds like it would be some wierd gem from the mid-90's with the eerie unorthodox playing, the eerie buildups and hoarse vocals that give it a distant mean sound. The lyrics create pictures of unease and discomfort. This draws from many elements of the hardcore lexicon and puts them together to craft something that doesn't sound like anything else, but rings true. This is a split release with De Graan Republiek and Headwrecker. It's $7 wholesale and $10 in an order.

Cloud Rat - s/t LP Heavy, blasting hardcore played mostly at a grinding pace, only slowing down to bludgeon you with crushing riffs. This record has an emotional honesty and intensity that is often lacking in bands this heavy, as the pained lyrics are spat out like so much venom. The lyrics deal with dark family issues of neglect and abandonment and the hurt is felt in the delivery, and as hard as they are to take, I feel they make the record all the more relevant. The packaging is made out of re-used record covers, screenprinted then re-glued, with a lyrics insert, all with original art from the band and friends. This is a split release with Otherwise Dead Records and Midwestern Decline Records. They are $5 wholesale, $8 with an order, and trades are welcome.

Positive Noise / Xtra Vomit 7" It's so great to be able to put out records by folks you've met through punk and were inspired by. One of the greatest things is to make those connections with like minded people all over the world and be able to create something together. All sappiness aside, this split is a pissed off piece of plastic from start to finish. Positive Noise blazes through with thick heavy HC and a never give up attitude. Xtra Vomit now has a live drummer and you are not ready for what happened. Pained lyrics struggling to find hope and meaning rage over grinding never-let-up HC. A heavier Ottawa might be a good starting point. This release is screenprinted on hand cut waste paper. Using less resources is important in punk. Let's scavenge then create. This record is $3 with an order, $5ppd US, or $2.25 wholesale. Trades get in touch.

Resurrectionists s/t LP Look out - the first full length from Germany's Resurrectionsts. This has the pulverizing power and overwhelming wall of noise that only German HC can produce. Take swirling wild guitars, drums that seem to be going way too fast and add 2 chained animals on vocals and that's the general sound. Heavy as hell, this disaster doesn't let you up for a second. Some members hail from Arsen aka Konig Der Monster, and that sound is still there, just made all the more vicious and crushing. This is packaged in a gorgeous gatefold cover with creepy art done by Stefan of Dance Macabre, and is a split release with Parade of Spectres and Moment of Collapse. This LP is $11 in an order, $14ppd US, or are $9 wholesale.

IFB023
Merkit / Resurrectionists split 7" 4 new Merkit songs, downtuned all to hell. Venom fueled scathing HC/punk with full lyrical explanations (in German too!) of course. Resurrectionists hail from Germany and play pulverizing grinding HC with touches of melodic chords amidst the chaos. This is tight, very heavy, and has multiple vocalists, all of which will bowl you over. Ex Arsen AKA Konig Der Monster if that gives you an idea. This is screenprinted on recycled paper and is a split release with React With Protest Records out of Germany. Europeans get in touch with Lars there for trades/orders. 600 copies. These are $4 or $2.50 wholesale.

IFB022
Control De Estado - Ladron 7" The third release from this Tampa area blazing raw punk band. Take some Crudos and Drop Dead, and throw some D-beats into the mix w/ great lyrics covering hypocritical society and imperialism. The packaging is a screenprinted 6 panel foldout w/ a gorgeous poster on one side by Scott Bentz. Plus it's all made from waste paper, and the cover sticker is screened on waste vinyl. 500 copies. $3 or $2.25 wholesale.

IFB021
We Need To Talk - It' Not Us, It's You 7" Raging pissed HC that goes from grinding assault to pulverizing heaviness. Sounds like if Scrotum Grinder and Left For Dead had 5 children and sent them to live in the grimy swamps of Louisiana. Has a gorgeous letter pressed cover w/ nice big booklet. This is a split release with Human Crush and One Eye. 600 copies. $3 or $2.25 wholesale.

Her Breath On Glass - We Aimed Straight Down LP. Amazing new record by these emo veterans of The Last 40 Seconds and Saddest Landscape. Expect solid noisy 90's style emo with pained vocals and raw, visceral guitar and drums. This album will definitely please fans of the band, as they add some heavier parts, and some dark moodiness for a seriously epic set. This release has split black/red vinyl, a hand screened cover with 5 prints, an hand stamped envelope with 9 full color inserts and 2 other inserts and a patch. This release is $10 or $7.50 wholesale (see the pic below and you'll see why it's more expensive than my other releases - it's worth it).

Merkit/Hombrinus Dudes LP. Holy shit - total HC assault on both sides. HD kills it with their old school 2 man grind approach, though they add lots of diverse influences to this release, making it a total aural punisher. Merkit blazes ahead with fast, unrelenting angry passionate hc/crust. Both bands have full lyrical explanations, and it has hand-screened jackets made on inside out used jackets. This record is $8 or $5.50 wholesale.

Dead Friends 7". Dead Friends are an awesome band from Gainesville, FL, and I'm happy to be a part of this release with Drugged Conscience and Obscurist Press Records. Merkit got to go on tour with these young men, sharing burritos and basements. There was a tour edition cover but they are gone. This is hardcore characterized by frantic energy and chaotic melody. Everyone sings, each bringing their own feel to the songs. I hear a lot of Assfactor 4 in this, which is great because that spastic, bottled up energetic sound has not been explored well enough. The covers are screenprinted and are just the kind of slightly offputting art that I like so much. These are sold out.

IFB017
Merkit - Summer '07 Tour CDR. This has 5 new Merkit songs. 4 of them will appear on the Merkit/Hombrinus Dudes LP, and the other is an Indecision cover exclusive to this release. The Indecision song is off the Unorthodox LP which everyone should have. Classic. These are kind of rough mixes of the songs, and don't have the samples, so they will sound different than the final mix on the LP. There were 100 of these made and all were given away/sold on the tour. There was a poster with the same image on it and the tour dates that was kind of with this as well. The tour was amazing - thanks to everyone involved, especially Michigan fools, and Baton Rouge heads.

Her Breath on Glass/Sofy Major split 7". I am very proud to have helped make this record happen. Her Breath on Glass is two guys who played in the Last 40 Seconds and Saddest Landscape and continue to display mastery of the 90's emo tradition. The calm instrumental breaks to noisy, pained guitar, wonderful drumming and passionate strained vocals. Sofy Major hails from France and continues France's legendary emo tradition. If Mihai Edrisch had a child with Envy and that child was noisy and unruly, that's what this sounds like. Thick pounding riffs give way to a noisy exit, all with the screamed vocals that the French have always excelled at. The packaging is a collaberation between all, with Thom (Sofy) and Andy (HBOG) contributing art which was screenprinted on handcut waste paper, then finished up with an amazing booklet that Andy put together. I think 100 of them were tied up with ribbon too. There were 700 pressed, all on black, and they are $4.50 ppd, or $2.25 wholesale. And you know trades are welcome.

IFB015
Merkit / Roboteer split 7". 2 new Merkit songs here, one about how we can continue to expect violent reactions to violent foreign policy, and one about the numbing lifestyle of mainstream consumer America. Plus 2 Left for Dead covers (Skin Graft and Pulling Teeth). Roboteer hails from Talahassee and play veeeery heavy dark HC with gruff vocals and pummeling drums. It just rules and has the right combo of faster parts, thick groove, and just plain pummeling riffs. Excellent stuff. There are 600 pressed on black with screenprinted covers on waste paper. These are sold out, but were traded widely so try distros all over the world.

IFB014
Carlisle - "This Means Everything to Me" Discography CD Carlisle has been one of my favorite bands for about 10 years now, and this discography is the culmination of 2 years of working with the band to make something special. Carlisle was one of the great Florida screamo bands from the mid-late 90's, combining thick, melodic, and very catchy music with passionate hair raising screamed vocals. They pioneered the sound and no one has done it better since. This discography has both 7"s, comp. songs, and demo, plus 13 new or unreleased songs, most of which were recorded just for this project. The new stuff is just as passionate and great as the old stuff. I released this to preserve the music of an amazing band, and I hope others share the feeling I always got from listening to these dudes. The packaging is made of recycled paper digipacks, with all the images being handstamped, with a booklet with all kinds of good info. These are $7 in person, or $5 wholesale. As always, trades rule as well. You can hear some of it at their website - www.myspace.com/carlisle

Merkit - Summer '06 tour cdr. Made for our summer '06 tour, this cdr is titled "Donald Rumsfeld is a straight up murderer" and has the 3 songs from the Merkit/Demian split on it, plus 2 new ones which will appear soon on the Merkit/Roboteer split 7". We made 50 of them and they come w/ a sweet yellow sticker and a lyrics insert and a patch. These are sold out.

IFB012
Merkit / Demian split 7". 3 new Merkit songs, one of which is a fun-filled tribute to the D-Beat formula, plus two other hc/punk tunes and big song explanations and an insert explaining why the whole globalization thing is for the birds. Demian hails from Brasil and shares this slab with 6 songs of killer hc with hints of thrash and grind and even some speed metal style picking, all held together with some nasty female vocals and good commentary in the lyrics. This is a split release with Dead Tank Records in Jacksonville FL and is $4 ppd or $3.50 in person. There are 500 pressed w/ hand screened covers using recycled paper. These are sold out.

IFB011
Merkit- s/t 7". 6 new songs released just in time for our Winter '06 tour. The covers are made of waste paper with a 3 color screen print designed by Joe. It has a big insert with lyrics and full explanations. Scotty recorded it masterfully and the music combines influences from powerviolence to D-beat to crust to no frills fast HC. It is a split release w/ What the Fuck Happened to Tapes (wtfhttrecords.com) This record is sold out. The songs will be released on a Merkit collection cd whenever we have enough unavailable songs to justify one.

IFB010
Merkit- Demo. Mean, fast HC with 2 different vocalists, distorted bass and blast beats strewn throughout. We draw influences from the simple, no frills nastiness of Left for Dead and Spazz and add a dose of D-beat crust to the mix. The lyrics are outbursts of anger at various issues and pull no punches (even to ourselves). Full explanations are included - duh. This release is available on Cassette and Cdr and is a split release with What the Fuck Happened to Tapes Records (wtfhttrecords.com). These are all gone.

Jiyuna- The Devil is Waiting for us in the Palace – Rush Courageously. This is our last album, with our new singer, Joe.   It's along the lines of the older stuff, but with a bit more complexity and depth to the music.  This record took forever to write and we're really proud of the way it turned out.  As always, we made handmade packaging for it but this time released it on Cd/Lp and Cassette.  Each has different style packaging, meaning way too much work for us, but we love it.  Here are the prices (all ppd) - Cd - $3, Lp - $5, Cass. - gone.   Wholesale prices are Cd - $1, Lp - $3.  Please get in touch for distro help or trades.

This Tragic Hero - s/t - CDR - TTH was briefly around and played heavy, emotional hardcore with an emphasis on thick breakdowns, a bit of metal, some pretty parts, and a Boston cover song. Screamy vocals with political lyrics complement the music. One member is in Jiyuna/Merkit, the others went on to form a band called Panda which is done and they are now doing Roboteer. This CDR had a print run of 300 with handmade packaging and an insert with lyrics/explanations and pictures.  This CDR is out of print but all the songs are available as mp3's on the Sounds link.

IFB007
Jiyuna – Demo/split 7” - CDR – This CDR compiles the tracks from Jiyuna’s long out of print demo and split 7” with Standing Tall. I’ve made about 60 copies and they're all sold out and this release is out of print. I would only recommend buying this if you’re a fan. It’s our early stuff. If you’ve not heard Jiyuna, don’t get this first. All the songs are available as mp3's on the Sounds page.

IFB006
Jiyuna – This Desolate Veil – CD – Our second full length with Kyle on vocals. Our sound comes from a mix of influences like classic Florida hardcore, Envy, Raein, old Cave In, some metal, and whatever else we’re listening to. Sometimes its heavy, sometimes melodic, with harsh screamed vocals and wandering basslines and odd time signatures thrown in. We’re very proud of the packaging of this CD. The CD is packaged in a handmade wood case inside a screenprinted mailer. There are 500 wood cases and 21 plexiglass cases. They are all sold out but all songs are up on the Sounds page to listen to.

IFB005
Jiyuna – s/t – CD – Our first full length with 9 songs including a Left For Dead cover. This is a little less refined than our newer stuff but still has parts that give me shivers down my spine. Spanish Song and Wildwood Flower will always be some of my favorite Jiyuna songs. Similar sound as described above. We made 1000 of these and they are all sold out but all songs are up on the Sounds section of this site for you.

IFB004
Whenallelsefails – Beyond the Boundaries of Black and White – CD – WAEF broke up in 2001 and this was our final effort with the demo songs re-recorded plus others. This is fairly traditional breakdown oriented mid-paced hardcore with screamy vocals and lots of passion. We had fun playing live, but all good things must come to an end. We made 500 of these CD’s and they are long sold out. They are on the website as mp3’s for your enjoyment.

IFB003
Jiyuna/Standing Tall – split 7” – This was the first vinyl release from both of us and lots of people seem to like these songs, though they sound kind of dated to us. The Jiyuna stuff is available on the demo/split 7” CDr. Standing Tall was from Gainesville and were awesome evil sounding hardcore like Dragbody or something like that. They have since broken up but were great friends. We made 535 of these with 500 of them having handmade paperboard packaging and 35 with a photocopied cardstock package that was only distributed for free on my trip to Europe. They are long sold out.

IFB002
Jiyuna – Demo tape – Our first 8 songs were recorded in Mark Stewart’s bedroom and the sound is actually not bad considering that. We made about 100 of these with handmade plexiglass jewelcases with a hinge. Most were sold at an old Sarasota fest or at early shows. These songs are available on the demo/split 7” Cdr listed above. The originals are long sold out.

IFB001
Whenallelsefails – Demo tape – This four song demo features 3 poorly recorded originals and an Inside Out cover (“Burning Fight”). Our songs were re-recorded and are on the CD. The tapes we used were dumpster dived from an Eckerd Drug store and the packaging was in paper bags with stickers and string. We made about 100 of them and they are long gone.
