Lots of stuff coming out lately - see the releases section, and see the IFB

sections of the site are always updated. I just rarely get a moment to add the news to this part.
Not sure if it gets read much. Anyway, I've got the Autarkeia LP out, the Autarkeia/Cloud Rat 7"
out, and the Hexis 7" is out as well. In the next two weeks, I'll have 4 new releases - the
Shoppers/Panzram 7", Republic of Dreams/Beau Navire 7", the Vespera - demo tape, and the Fracaso
demo tape (Venezuelan punk). Thanks for all the support. Down the road is the Cloud Rat/Xtra Vomit
LP and an Xtra Vomit/Escalator 7".

2xLP, the Cloud Rat/Oily Menace/Wolbachia LP, and fresh out is the Rat Storm 7" which is some
blistering HC/powerviolence from Bloomington, and the Autarkeia CD/LP and Cloud Rat/Autarkeia 7".
Autarkeia is my band and I would call it some epic emo - gigantic sound, pretty/heavy, very moody
and powerful with vocals ranging from pissed venom to haunting beauty. Next on the agenda is a
Hexis 7", a Panzram/Shoppers 7", a Cloud Rat/Xtra Vomit LP, and an Escalator/Xtra vomit 7" and
Republic of Dreams/Beau Navire 7". Whew.

The Crow's Foot 10" will be here early this week, so I'll go ahead and take orders
for that - think blazing punk like Bread and Water mixed with the passion and emotion of mid 90's
anarcho/emo bands from France like Anomie. Very powerful record. Also, the Lentic Waters LP's will
be here any day now. Boasting members of Resurrectionists, Ding Dong Dead, and Only for the Sake of Aching, this
German band takes a slow, pounding, heavy approach, plowing through with a gigantic sound and hints of
epic here and there, then beating you up with some chaotic HC. Very good stuff.

Ok - so the Panzram - Reform 10" is out and they just completed a great tour - thanks
to everyone that helped them out, came to the show, and bought the record. Crow's Foot is currently on
tour and have test press versions of their new 10" with nice hand-made screened, sewn, and stamped
packaging - blazing emotional crust. The best description of Crow's Foot is to take the blazing punk of
Breat and Water and add the mid-90's anarcho-emo sound of bands like Anomie - very powerful.
Many records are slated to come out this summer. First will be the Crow's Foot 10", then we've got
the Cloud Rat/Oily Menace/Wolbachia LP, the Cloud Rat Xtra Vomit LP, Tropiezo/Vivisick 7", Aussitot Mort 2xLP, Lentic Waters LP
Resurrectionists/Lich LP, Gentle Art of Chokin' LP, Autarkeia LP, Autarkeia/Cloud Rat 7", Cervix 7".

Yikes - I haven't updated the news in 3 months. Anyway, lots has happened - the Hybris
Discography LP came out, the Merkit Discography Cd is out, and the Xtra Vomit/Tropiezo split 7" is out.
Those are all listed above with the prices, and pics and descriptions are on the Releases link from the
site. Other than that, I've just been plugging along trading, getting more consignment stuff. New
consignment labels include Kid Sister Everything, Tenzenmen (Australia), L'oeil Du Tigre (canada),
React With Protest (Germany), Where's That Deerhead (Canada), Keep It Together, Just Say No (Canada),
Parade of Spectres (UK), and Flower of Carnage (Japan).
Next on the release menu is the Panzram 10" which is recorded, but needs a touch of mixing then making it.
I'll be pitching in on an Ausitot Mort 2xLP discography with the mighty Adagio 830 and Moment of Collapse
labels from Germany. Autarkeia (my new band) has an album's worth of material ready, just trying to get
a recording done. I'll be doing 2 split Cloud Rat LP's coming up, one with Xtra Vomit, and one with Oily
Menace - Michigan HC is taking over - represent.

Ok, so the Pripyat tapes are in and my first pro-tape release turned out real good.
This stuff is total HC fury - so raw and good. The 4 way split's are in with Dolcim, Dying in Motion, Men as Trees,
and Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort - great screamo from both sides of the Atlantic. I got a new load of stuff
from React With Protest, and a bunch of Feral Ward Records stuff. Also tons of used stuff - click the Distro
link.
Next up are the Hybris Discography LP's - those should be here in about 3-4 weeks. Hybris was
a German band that kinda flew under the radar, but played that devastating Bremen sound of punishing
heaviness with harsh screamed vocals. Love it. Also the Xtra Vomit/Tropiezo split is still in the workings.
Maybe another month or two on that one. After that, who knows.
I'm still looking to take on more consignment, so if you do a label, let me know what you've got and
maybe I can carry the goods. I'm currently carrying these fine labels on consignment, so you can ask
them for a reference - React With Protest (Germany), Where's that Deerhead (Canada), and Keep It Together (WI).
Summer is almost over. The Drainland LP is out, the Pripyat tape will be here any
day now, and new projects are coming up fast. The Xtra Vomit/Tropiezo 7" should be going to press real soon,
and I'll be co-releasing a Hybris discography LP with React With Protest and De Graanrepubliek. Also a
4 way split LP is on it's way to me with Dolcim, Men as Trees, Le Pre Ou Je Se Mort, and Dying in Motion.
Its a split release w/ Moment of Collapse, Ape must not kill Ape, Arctic Radar, and Communication is not words.

Next, the good news is that both the Resurrectionists LP and the Positive
Noise/Xtra Vomit 7"s are in and all finished. They're $11/$3 with an order or $14/$5 ppd. I can't trade the Resurrectionists LP
right now, since I'm getting copies slowly and need them for mailorder. The Positive Noise/Xtra Vomit 7"s are up for trade though
and they rip. Check the Releases section for better descriptions of both records.
Upcoming records - I will be co-releasing the Drainland LP - ugly HC from Ireland, co-releasing the Xtra Vomit/Tropiezo split 7" - MI
grinding anger vs. Puerto Rican fast punk. I'll also be co-releasing an LP from Cloud Rat from MI - very intense HC like a grindier
more crust influence Cursed with shuddering vocals. Very good stuff. The Panzram and Autarkeia 10"s are in the lineup, but it
will be a month or more before they are even recorded, so no dates on those. I've also got a few little things up my sleeve.
Merkit will be touring Europe again this summer from June 18th to July 4th - we'll be at Trashfest, Cry Me a River Fest and shows
all across Germany, Czech Repupblic, Netherlands, and Belgium. Come say hi.

Just a few bits of news - the Resurrectionists LP is done and is on the way. Should be another 2 weeks in the
mail, so I'll send out an email when it arrives. The Positive Noise/Xtra Vomit split 7" is at the pressing plant - lets say 3 weeks
on that one since the covers aren't done yet either. It sounds great - crushing sides from both. The next two releases
planned are a Panzram 10" and an Autarkeia 10". Autarkeia is my new band w/ Robbie from Jiyuna, John from Merkit, and Aysia from
Raytown. It's kinda epic/sad/venomous stuff.
In other news, I've started doing the consignment thing. I'll be carrying 2 labels so far - React With Protest from Germany (www.reactwithprotest.org)
and Where's that Deerhead? from Montreal (www.wheresthatdeerhead.likeweeds.org). Let me know if you'd like me to carry your stuff
and I'll let you know what I can take.
And remember I like to buy used collections, so if you've got records to drop, let me know and I'll make an offer.
So it looks like I tend to update the news every 5-6 months. PLEASE NOTE
that the distro is updated with every order that goes out or new record that comes in, so its
always up to date. Anyway, in label news, I should have the Resurrectionists LP out in a month
or maybe sooner. It's being pressed in Germany and is co-released with Parade of Spectres
and Moment of Collapse and maybe an Israeli label. Maybe you heard the Resurrectionists split
with Merkit - if not it's German beast stuff just like you'd expect - swirling wild guitars
pummeling blast beat ridden drumming, and multiple vocalist mania. Overpowering in the great
German tradition. More when it comes out. It may cost a little more than my usual releases
due to the shipping from Germany and all. I have 2 other 7" things in the maybe happening
category, but they're not definite. If you want to sell your collection of records or
distro, get in touch. I'm always buying good records, and I'll give you the best price I can.

The Merkit/Resurrectionists split 7" is out at last. I finally
updated the releases section of the site, so you can see it there. Also, as always lots
of new trades/used stuff/buys in the distro.
In other distro news, I finally figured
out how Paypal charges fees. They charge me %2.9 plus $.30 for each transaction. From
now on, I'll be charging exactly this amount if you want to use paypal. I prefer cash/check/MO
which is cheaper for you and doesn't give jerky companies money.
In distro news - If you've been getting the email updates from me, I usually attach a list
of random records I have in stock but aren't on the website. Those are usually collections
I get and don't want to describe each one and make a sticker for it in the distro bins and type
them up on the website. I'm going to put everything on the site in the next week, but it
just won't all have a description. I just haven't been able to keep up with all the
describing and stickering. Things have grown more than I thought they would and that's just
something I'll have to not do to every single copy record that I get in. Most of the
trades or records I get multiple copies will still have a description on them.
Lastly, if anyone is selling collections or lots of records, just type them up and send me a
list. I'll try to make an offer, and I try to offer as much as possible while still being
confident of making the money back plus a little more to release records with.
